Does the offer still stand that if an English speaker posts on any post on this site that translation will occur ? As you know, in the past I have had bad luck with this.

I would very much like to participate but don't really know how this will go ?

The best way to get a quick translation is to ask for it.
Not every user is aware of this proposal.
And moderators might miss your post, or just won't have enough time to translate it.

So, if you start your messages with a hint "Can someone translate this to french please?", someone will certainly do it.
